Built for everyone at the table.
Splitting a bill should be easy no matter how you use your device. Here's where we stand, and how to tell us when we fall short.

Our commitment
FriendsBill is operated by 7Rush Software Solutions LLC. We want everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or larger text — to be able to create a bill, share it, and claim their items. We treat accessibility as part of building the product, not an afterthought.
What we aim for
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA across the FriendsBill web app, our mobile apps for iOS and Android, and this website.
What we do today
- Semantic headings, labels, and landmarks so screen readers can navigate each page.
- Keyboard access to every interactive control — no action needs a mouse or touch.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, icons, and buttons.
- Colour contrast chosen to stay legible, with a dark theme for lower-light and light-sensitivity needs.
- Layouts that reflow and stay usable when you zoom in or increase your system font size.
- Respect for your platform's text-size and reduced-motion settings in the mobile apps.
- Visible focus indicators so you always know where you are on the page.
Where we fall short
We're honest that accessibility is ongoing work. Some parts of the product — receipt-scan previews and a few older screens — may not yet fully meet our target. We're actively improving them. If you hit a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can prioritise the fix.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If any part of FriendsBill is hard or impossible to use with your assistive technology, email [email protected]. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, or assistive tool you were using. We read every message and will work with you to get you a usable result — and to fix the underlying problem.
Changes
As we improve the product, we'll update this statement and the date above. If we learn of a significant barrier, we'll note it here while we work on the fix.
